Gloria Treister, HHP, is a powerful advocate for wellness. She has worked in and studied about health and wellness for over 30 years. She recognized early on that it made better sense to take a proactive approach to one’s health, rather than be reactive.

Gloria has been promoting wellness since the early 1980’s. As the Owner of Treister Physical Therapy, which she sold to publicly-traded NovaCare in 1997, she used the knowledge of her physical and occupational therapists for educating clients in prevention and self care.

In 2003, she founded Wellness Evolution and began creating unique models for delivering a patient-centered, functional medicine approach to health, focusing on a person’s unique biochemical individuality and getting to the root cause of a problem, rather than treating symptoms.
She has been empowering people ever since through unique services and comprehensive programs. She coaches and consults with companies and individuals creating powerful programs for people seeking optimal, not just adequate, health and wellbeing. Through her popular Wellness 101® classes, she helps enable her students to take charge of their own wellness.

Gloria loves learning and teaching. Some recent achievements include Board Certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner and Coach, Reiki Master, Certified Elemental Reflexologist, Certified Aromatherapist, among others.

She earned her Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist® (CCWS) designation in 2014 and her Certified Corporate Nutrition Specialist (CCNS) in 2015 and is certified by the Institute for Aerobic Research as an Advanced Physical Fitness Specialist.

She is the author of “Wellness 101® A Guide to Healthy Living” and is also proud to be a US Ambassador for Global Wellness Day, a Delegate to the Global Wellness Summit and she is a Member of the Future of Wellness at Work Committee for the Global Wellness Institute.

  • Hi Gloria – I’ve just seen your video. I really enjoyed it and found it very informative. I’ve recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and I am understanding more than ever, the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle behaviours long-term. I have chronic inflammation which I’m working on, particularly through diet. I have been working with an holistic Dr since December and she’s been amazing – I realise that this isn’t a quick fix though, and it’s going to take time to improve.
    If I’m lucky enough, I’d love to be selected to participate in your 21 days to turn off the inflammation program! I’m very committed to reducing my inflammation as much as I can.
